    The waters are warmer and the fishing is hotter!
    Aprils cool beginning should have us fishing a longer spring season for inshore species of fish. Expect our Apalachicola area waters to slowly warm.     A Bay Charter Report
    Apalachicola and Port St Joe along the Forgotten coast. Port St Joe area still has plenty of fish on the flats. Today we found good redfish and trout on the west side of the bay and large schools of jack in the 30 lbs range on the east flats near butlers. But the canal is the hot spot for trout , redfish and flounder. Jig heads tipped with shrimp are bringing lots of fish to the boat , but live mullet or bull minnows fished on the bottom are the ticket for a fish fry. Live shrimp is catching sheepshead and drum.     Fall Fishing Months In Apalachicola
    The cooling months of October and November are prime fall fishing months for schooling Redfish, Speckled Trout, Flounder and Black Drum. (Read more)
    Fishing Is Best Early Morning
    During this time of year the fishing is best in the very early morning and late evening. The water temperatures are around 84-86 degrees and the fish have been finicky midday. (Read more)
